In order to get this season finished, we'll complete both championships this week.

Mens Semifinals will be held at the St Paul and Anoka Stake Centers, with the Championship being played at the Anoka Stake Center.
The YM Championship will be played at the Anoka Stake Center.

Tournament Schedule and Rules

Playoff Rules
YM games will have an assigned official.

Men will still be calling their own fouls.

In the last 3 minutes of a men's game:

1. Stop clock on any stoppage of play.
2. Clock will restart when the first pass is received.  Either from in-bounding or from a checked ball.
3. If a foul is called, the fouled player will be awarded 2 shots, each worth one point.  These are dead ball free throws.
4.  After the shots are taken, the ball will be awarded to the defense.

Participation

1. Players can only play if they played for your team during the season.
2. Three members on the court.  Only two non-members on the court.

• As for the YM, spring break is still upcoming for about 4 youth teams.  We are trying to accommodate those schedules.

Quick scheduling note:  The boys tournament will be scheduled at the beginning of April.  

We had originally hoped to have the boys tournament early this year, but a late start, cancellations and snow have hampered many games.  Now with spring breaks extending across March, we will limp through the month so as to avoid eliminating teams solely because their spring break falls during the selected week.

A couple of changes:

• Due to some logistics and travel, were going to revert to the 4 games per night schedule for the upcoming weeks.
• We realize this week falls on Valentines Day.  Please let us know if you will not be fielding a team.
• As last week wasn't played, we'll keep many of last week's match-ups.
• I haven't heard from Shingle Creek Men.  I'm assuming they don't have a team.  Please contact me if this is incorrect.
