In a close struggle TC1 took a 10 point lead with about 9 minutes to go. Elm Creek stepped up the defensive pressure and caught up, with the score tied and TC1 in possession came the play of the game. as The center for TC1 was looking over the court standing dribbling behind him, the EC defender gambled jumped superman style to the side reached around and tipped the ball free, he jumped to his feet grabbed the ball, and with 3 defenders close on his heals did a layup- and was fouled, he made the and one free throw, and EC made the free throws to win by 5.
