Mid season Rankings

The committee has been debating the strengths and weaknesses of the various teams,  Remember the rankings may differ  from the standings.  Depending on strength of schedule, which players were missing  etc and several other metrics we use for  power rankings, We will have a more complete rankings next week.
On the Men's side one thing is all but for certain.  There will be a new Champion this year After a great  three year run for Maple Grove, Last year's champions  Almost every one has moved,  Adam Larson,  Sam (the point guard), Matt Christian,  Shea  Alred,  RJ Reeves, Josh Kent, Eric Lawrence now plays for AA, George our back up center travels every Thursday, and our only starter back, Cameron Archibald  is out with foot issues. Last year our goal was to go undefeated, this year our goal is to win a game. (0-5  so far) but it is fun at least I get to play center (????).
   With that said

MEN

Lake Nokomis   This could be their year they have size speed and a nice all around game.

Princeton  is sneaky good, with real good size and speed and ball handling, their problem is having everyone show up.

Plymouth  might have 12- 13  guys or 4-5  depending on the week,  when  they are all there they can ba a force.

Bloomington    good size and speed

Sleepers:
Shingle Creek,  They lack size  but make up for it in speed and balance and great outside shooting, which comes and goes,  catch  them on a hot shooting night and they can  be  deadly.

Blaine and TC1   have nice  teams with  size and speed.

NSP  has a brilliant record  but depending on the out come of last weeks game with TC1  they had not played a team with  a winning record.

YOUNG MEN

Shingle Creek (ym)   has size, depth,  Speed  shooting,  They could be the class  of the league

Maple Grove A (ym)  When everyone is there  they have  nice skill at the center position, more acrobatic  dunks than the rest of the league (men and Young Men's) combined.  Terrific Guard play  and good balance.  (with  all the deacans playing on the B  team the A  team is left with  the more experienced players)

Elm Creek (ym)   When they have everyone they are very good,   but that has been rare, they often play with only 4  guys.

Andover (ym)  has  a  very  balanced team with good length and shooting balance.

Sleeper.... we have not seen Chka (ym)  (Chaska) yet, but I hear they have good size.

This week's  games of the week   for the young men:  Chaska and Andover,(ym)   we will see how Chaska Measures up against a very good Andover (ym)  team.

For the men   A  fun game should be  Shingle Creek/Princeton,   Last year they were combined.  It will be the size of Princeton against the shooting and court savey of  Shingle Creek.

Good Luck.
